Delivery of the Wagerup 100MW/200MWh Battery Energy Storage System in WA’s  South West, the battery connects to existing high voltage infrastructure; helping to stabilise the SWIS, and provide backup capacity when needed.

The project includes supporting infrastructure required to integrate the battery system into the grid, installation of remaining battery units, PCS and transformers including:

• Civil works such as foundations and access roads, fire water reticulation and 330kV infrastructure,
• Electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, and cabling from control up to 330kV,
• Protection, control, fire and monitoring systems installation, and
• Assisting with the commissioning and integration with existing grid infrastructure.
