MGC Solutions was engaged by ARC Infrastructure to deliver power upgrades to their signalling network in the Avon Valley. The upgrade to power was to build new solar arrays and power rooms that enabled the network to move away from Western Power supplies to their safety critical network. Works delivered with the local inhouse team were:

• Long lead material assessment and procurement
• Off site manufacture of signalling frames and power rooms
• Factory acceptance testing, field testing and commissioning
• Civil installation and structural installation of wayside signalling infrastructure
• Cable installation, termination and testing
• Set to work, test and commission
• Signalling entry into service
